I have made more progress on Lighthouse painting. I usually make sure there is a good base coat on entire painting before I put in more colors and details into a painting.
I paint all the time but not always on subjects I enjoy. This Lighthouse will be special because I'm enjoying it.
The average painting will have seven values of color on a subject. However a perfect painting will have 14 or more values of color on a subject.

Oil Paint Clean Up. Try instead of Turpentine products Lamp Oil to clean out your brushes. Helps keep your brushes soft.
If you have brushes that are hard from oil or acrilic paint drying in them you can soak your brushes in Murphy Oil Soap. I soak mine for a couple of days then wash out. If bushes are still not soft repeat.
