we enjoyed our first midwest salute to the arts last weekend in fairview heights, il...peggy was the winner of an award of excellence...it meant a little bit extra to us this time around as peggy has recently switched over to non representational abstract work so this positive affirmation was very welcome. we thank the jurors for "thinking outside the lines" with us. this weekend we will be west of the mississippi river in st louis, mo at the queeny park art fair. this is a three day event beginning this friday, sept 2...and the weather will be perfect. I can say this because this art fair takes place indoors in air conditioned comfort. we invite you to spend part of your labor day weekend with us at the queeny park art fair. please call or email if you need any more info… Continue reading… 1 comment

the rain tried to cause problems for the show last weekend in geneva, il...but the worst of the weather either passed us by or happened just early enough in the day so that it was out of way by the show opening at 10am each day. thankfully...after a really good sunday we had a successful show for our first in geneva...we want to compliment show promoter erin melloy and the geneva chamber of commerce for a very well run art fair...we certainly hope to return in years to come. next up for us is the art in the park art fair in appleton, wi...which is now more of an "art around the park" as all the artist booths are set up on the streets surrounding the park...making it much more enjoyable for patrons and artists alike. the extended forecast is for warm and dry weather..… Continue reading… 0 comments

well that was a lost weekend...rain came most of the day on saturday...putting a severe damper on the st charles fine art fair this year...then on sunday several heavy downpours hit the showsite and that spelled the end of the show for 2011. this weekend...june 4&5...we will be in napervile, il for the women's club fine art festival...it's the longest running art fair in illinois...we look forward to a (hopefully) dry weekend when folks can come out and enjoy the weekend festivities. its a nice size show located near the beautiful riverwalk in downtown naperville. hope to see you there. ps...our midwest show schedule is now posted for the rest of the summer...just click on the about tab...and scroll down..… Continue reading… 0 comments
