What Does eBay Expect From Me As A Seller?
eBay will take down listings that can be found for sale for a better price somewhere
else on the Internet. Do not try to sell the same piece on eBay that you are
trying to sell through your own website or some other shopping venue online.
All information regarding the listing must be true and accurate.
If a misrepresentation is discovered or a listing is trying to be sold elsewhere,
the entire ArtId store can be taken down by eBay. Please do not ruin it for every one else!
How Many Days Is The Art Listed For?
Items are listed for 30 days. An item can be relisted as many times as the artist wants.
What If The Buyer Wants To Return The Art?
Because ArtId acts as the liason between the artist and the buyer on eBay, we
will gather all the information from the buyer to decipher why they are returning
the piece.
If the buyer is simply returning the art because it didn’t match the wall
paper in their home or something like that, we will instruct them to repackage
the item and return it to the artist.
If the buyer finds the piece was packaged poorly and broke, or that it was not
at all what the piece looked like online, we will ask the artist to pay for
return shipping and schedule the return.
What If I Get Bad Feedback?
Feedback is not given directly to the artist, it is given to the ArtId store, which essentially means it is given to all the artists who have and will particpate on eBay. Bad feedback hurts all of us. We respectfully ask all members who plan to use the ArtId Store to do so in good faith. Conversely, the more positive feedback artists get, the better for everyone. Some rules to remember: Make sure pictures represent the art wholly. Do not sell the piece to someone else while it is on eBay. Send packages out well-packed and on time.
What If I Want To Take My Listing Off eBay?
If, for some reason, an artist wants to take their listing off eBay, they can contact ArtId. eBay highly discourages the removal of art before the 30 day period. eBay will charge us a fee to remove artwork and we will pass a $20.00 fee for removal of each image back to the artist.
